Doe Ray Me from The Sound Of Music, by A Pedant.

2 Oct

Doe, a deer, a female deer (or related animal)
Ray, a drop of golden sun (if by this you mean a thin line or narrow beam of light or other radiant energy, then you are broadly correct).
Me, a name I call myself (No – “me” is the objective case of the personal pronoun “I”)
Far, a long, long way to run (mode of travel is not relevant to the definition)
Sew, a needle pulling thread (the act of a needle pulling thread…)
La, a note to follow Sew (ridiculously vague)
Tea, a drink with jam and bread (“a drink” would suffice)
That will bring us back to Do (noting my corrections)

You have misspelled “Doe” in the last line.

Happy to help, yours pedantically, Paulxxx
